Here I will show some shien/amazon finds i have and give tips on brands to look for and where to shop. As I said on the home page this is mainly for brits, but im sure Americans and others can also find this useful.
Brands
There are many brands that you can look for when shopping online, here is a list i have of all the brands I personally look for.
Shops
It's easier to find good things at second hand shops online, but if your looking for furniture shops like amazon can be useful. As i said i will show my finds later. I ordered this list from my most recommended to least.

Vinted is a Lithuanian online marketplace for buying, selling and exchanging new or secondhand items, mainly clothing and accessories. The good thing about Vinted is your money doesnt get taken out until your stuff has been sent to you (I think so anyway).
Depop is a peer-to-peer social e-commerce company based in London, with additional offices in Manchester, Milan and New York City. The company has an expanding global presence being popularised in countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and Italy. Its usually more expensive but the stuff you can find is really good.
Poshmark is a social commerce marketplace where users can buy and sell new and secondhand fashion, home goods, and electronics. The platform has over 80 million users, with over 200M available listings. The company is headquartered in Redwood City, California, with offices in Canada, Australia, and India. If you cant find what your looking for in Vinted or Depop, Poshmark is a good alternative and will likely have it.

These items fall under a wide range of categories, including jewelry, bags, clothing, home décor and furniture, toys, art, as well as craft supplies and tools. Etsy, like Depop, can be more expensive but still has really good room decor and clothing. I come across a lot of playboy pillows on Etsy.
(Link will take you to the british version of Ebay, click here for the american site.) eBay Inc. is an American multinational e-commerce company based in San Jose, California, that facilitates consumer-to-consumer and business-to-consumer sales through its website. eBay was founded by Pierre Omidyar in 1995 and became a notable success story of the dot-com bubble. This is a more known place to shop, doesnt necessarily have as much good stuff but there are the odd one or two things that are worth buying.

Amazon Inc. is an American multinational technology company focusing on e-commerce, cloud computing, online advertising, digital streaming, and artificial intelligence. Amazon isnt as useful for clothing, but really good if your looking for room decor.
(Link will take you to the british version of Shein, click here for the american site.) Shein is a fast-fashion retailer that produces thousands of garments and accessories at a rapid pace. In 2022, the company was worth $100 billion - more than fast-fashion predecessors H&M and Zara combined. Though i dont recommend shopping here as much as i do the rest of the shops ive mentioned, shein rarely has good clothing and room decor if you search for the right things.
Finds and Keywords
For Vinted, Depop, Poshmark, Etsy and Ebay i wont show finds because the stuff i will put up will most likely be sold by the time you see this, but i will show keywords to search so you know what you are looking for. For Amazon and Shein i will show some of my finds.

Other shops
I put these shops in a seperate section because i dont recommend them as much as the shops I listed at the top, but they still have really good items if your lucky to come across them.
Hot Topic, Inc. is an American retail chain specializing in counterculture-related clothing and accessories, as well as licensed music. The stores are aimed towards an audience interested in rock music and video gaming, and most of their audience ranges from teens to young adults. I dont recommend Hot Topic as much because their shops are only in America (but i think they ship to UK) and the stuff they sell arent as good as they used to be. I did find this really cute Barbie necklace that ive been wanting though.
Couldn't find a description, but Rockgirllyfe is basically a small business (i think) that mainly makes miss me style jeans and more trashy y2k style clothing. They have really cute stuff which they show on tiktok and instagram. They also do givaways. However i dont recommend this brand as much because they are usually out of stock and has limited sizes, and also because there have been accusations that the brand is a scam and they dont send the stuff you win if you win a giveaway (example).
