Btw i will say that trashy y2k/mcbling is NOT the same as y2k, just like how dark y2k, nostalgiacore and frutiger aero isnt the same as y2k. The y2k style is more 'cybercore', and was popular from 1997 to 2004, whereas mcbling is a more maximalist style that was popular from 2000 to 2009. read more about the five styles here.
Anyways, for people unfamiliar with the style, mcbling or trashy y2k is a style that was popular in the 2000s, involving brands like playboy, juicy couture, ed hardy, baby phat, etc. (Ill put more info on brands in another page). It has very vibrant colours - mainly hot pink - and animal prints like leopard print and zebra print. The best way to own this style today is to thrift clothes (if your in america, though ive heard its hard to actually find a good thrift store in your area) or shop online on second hand clothing shops (but sometimes you can find good stuff at places like shein or amazon).
